Special Education Teacher/Autism Special Class Co-ordinator

 x 22 hours (Specific Purpose Contract).

 

Ashbourne Community School invites applications from suitably qualified/experienced teachers for the position of Co-ordinator of an Autism Special Class.

Experience in an ASD setting is desirable.  The successful candidate will be required to co-ordinate and manage all aspects of provision with the ASD class.

Interviews are scheduled to take place as soon as possible after the closing date. Remote interview is available on request.

A Garda Vetting Disclosure, declaration of fitness for employment, and proof of adequate registration with the Teaching Council will be required for each appointment.

All appointments are subject to the approval of and sanction by the Department of Education and the post not being required for the redeployment process (confirmed by the Director of Redeployment).
