Ashbourne Community School has gained a reputation as a progressive co-educational school. Our population of over 1,000 students affords us the opportunity to provide an extensive curriculum at both Junior and Senior Cycles. VACANCY - SUBJECT/S:  SPANISH with resource x 22 hours (Maternity Leave)

The successful candidate will be required to commence immediately and this contract will be in situ until the 31st May, 2024.


Applications will be accepted by email to recruit@ashcom.ie no later than  4 pm on Monday 8th April, 2024. Late applications will not be accepted.   Interviews are scheduled to take place immediately thereafter followed by commencement of contract.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.  Canvassing will disqualify.

A Garda Vetting Disclosure, declaration of fitness for employment, and proof of adequate registration with the Teaching Council will be required for each appointment.

All appointments are subject to the approval of and sanction by the Department of Education and the post not being required for the redeployment process (confirmed by the Director of Redeployment).
