GUTHNA

nDALTAÍ

The aim of Guth Na nDaltaí (Students’ Voice as Gaeilge), is to unite and represent the voices of all students in our school. The views of students will be presented at G.N.D meetings by their class reps and/or a committee that they are associated with.

Guth na nDaltaí will allow us to use our voices collectively, work together as a group, shed light on different areas of student life that can potentially be improved and most importantly speak as students for students

who?

All students will be represented through: Head Students, Student Council, Green Schools, Amber Flag, Class Reps, TY Captains, Senior Prefects, Senior Leaders & Climate Ambassadors

What?

Every student voice group can decide on what issue they would like to see discussed. There will be a vote among all groups on what issue will take focus in the next G.N.D. meeting.

When?

Guth na nDaltaí will meet every half term on Tuesday morning from 8.35am to 9.35am. Meetings are entirely student led and any teachers present will act as observers only.

where?

G.N.D. will take place in the GP hall with access to the interactive screen. Each committee will be seated at half a lunch table (4 seats). Chair people, timekeeper & secretary will seated at the top of the hall.
