Information on Funding and Grants for 3rd level study in 2011:
Given that the grant awarding authorities are experiencing significant increased demand for grants, which in the 2010/11 academic year resulted in significant delays in the processing of grant applications in some areas, we want to encourage students to submit their 2011/12 Student Grant Application, as early as possible before the closing date of 31 August 2011.
We would highlight that students do not need to wait until they have accepted a place in college to apply for a student grant.

Guidance and Counselling
GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING DEPARTMENT
The school has three guidance counsellors who offer a complete and confidential service to our students.
They support the emotional, educational and social well being of the students in the following ways:
- Educational Counselling:
Motivation, Learning and Self Management. Practical advice in study and exam preparation.
- Career Counselling
Information and guidance on subject choices, courses and levels for study. Advice and information on 3rd Level study and choices available.
- Personal Counselling
In partnership with parents and guardians we offer care, support and advice in times of particular need or crisis.
